Nebraska's high-powered offense just took a huge hit when Taylor Martinez did not take the field for the Cornhuskers' first possession of the second half following Missouri's seventh punt of the game.

Martinez took a nasty hit on his thigh from an opposing player's helmet in the second quarter, and is visibly limping with a painful expression on the sideline. Looks like he's not going to find his way back in the game.

Senior Zac Lee has taken over for the freshman Martinez, and has misfired on his first two pass attempts.

A huge door for Missouri to get back in this game opens up without Martinez in the game, but they really need to find a way to get some offense going against a Nebraska team that has the second best defense in the Big 12. Lee, after all, is definitely not the same player that Martinez is.

Stay tuned for much more on this one.
