Roy Helu: Nebraska Cornhuskers Knock Off Missouri Tigers
Roy Helu set a Nebraska school record in rushing yards today in the Huskers' stomping of the Missouri Tigers.
Helu rushed for an amazing 307 yards and three touchdowns against Mizzou today as the Huskers won 31-17.
We're used to seeing quarterback Taylor Martinez run all over his competition, but today was all about Helu.
The No. 14 Cornhuskers may have secured themselves a spot in the top 10 of the BCS rankings after today's win.
But the Missouri Tigers aren't the only undefeated team to suffer their first loss of the season.
The Iowa Hawkeyes completely destroyed the Michigan State Spartans 37-6 today, and that game marked the end of the undefeated teams in the Big Ten.
Another huge upset of the day came early on when the Virginia Cavaliers knocked off the No. 22 Miami Hurricanes. Miami quarterback Jacory Harris suffered an injury in the second quarter which kept him out for the rest of the game.
