Michigan State Football: Spartans Suffer First Loss of the Season
Michigan State Football:
The Michigan State Spartans have been handed their first loss today by the Iowa Hawkeyes, and there goes the last of the undefeated teams in the Big Ten.
So what does this mean for the BCS standings?
The Spartans are likely to fall completely out of the top 10, and the Hawkeyes have a shot at moving up toward the top.
The No. 10 Wisconsin Badgers have a bye this week, but they will likely move up a few spots during their week off.
Other teams likely to move up?
Nebraska and Alabama.
Other teams likely to move down?
Missouri and Miami.
And what about The Ohio State Buckeyes?
The Bucks will take on the Iowa Hawkeyes on November 20th, and a win there could secure them a spot atop the Big Ten (even with a loss to Wisconsin).
One thing is for sure:
The BCS rankings will look drastically different after this weekend.
