2010-2011 NHL Predictions: Power Ranking the Hottest WAGs on Ice

The 2010-2011 NHL season is well on its way.

Hello? Is this thing on?

I said hockey is back and yet we hear nothing about it.

Well, I'm gonna try and drum up some business for the guys with sticks by ranking their hottest WAGS and getting folks talking about hockey.

Granted, it's an uphill battle, competing with college football, the NFL and the NBA, and with college basketball around the corner. And I heard a rumor that there's a World Series going on.

All that said, there has to be room for hockey. And there's always room for the ladies.

10. Noureen DeWulf (Ryan Miller)

Right now Ryan Miller's Buffalo Sabres are in last place in the Northeast Division, but he's got Noureen to cheer him up.

Not that bad a deal.

9. Kathy Leutner (Sidney Crosby)

The Pittsburgh Penguins are doing OK in the WAGs category with the one-two punch of Sid Crosby and (later) Mike Comrie.

If this is Sid the Kid's lady, he is styling.

8. Ashley Leggat (Jeremy Williams)

Ashely is an actress, singer and Canadian. The trifecta for hockey WAGs.

She sure makes Pepsi looks good.

I'm sure the Rangers' Jeremy Williams has no complaints.

7. Amanda Vanderpool (Ladislav Smid)

Edmonton Oilers are 2-4 with six points. Which is good for last place.

Maybe Smid is a bit distracted. Ms. Vanderpool is no joke.

6. Melanie Collins (Scottie Upshall)

The Philadelphia Flyers are at break even so far in this early season.

And I think Scottie Upshall is breaking pretty even himself.

5. Willa Ford (Mike Modano)

I love that Mike Modano is pushing 40 and still playing. Something is keeping him young. I wonder what it is?

By the way, the former Willa Ford has played in the lingerie football league and had a hit song called, "I Wanna Be Bad."

Just in case you were wondering.

4. Emma Andersson (Henrik Zetterberg)

Zetterberg has one of the hottest women I have ever seen. She looks sexy even when she's looking naughty.

Way to go, Henrik.

3. Elisha Cuthbert (Dion Phaneuf)

Elisha Cuthbert is famous for her roles in the TV series, "24," and the movie, "Girl Next Door." Unfortunately, there are no girls like this next door.

Phaneuf is a big dude and a heavy hitter, so I will stop my comments right now.

2. Carrie Underwood (Mike Fisher)

Mike Fisher put a ring on Carrie Underwood's finger and that has got to be almost as big as winning a Stanley Cup, right?

Almost?

1. Hilary Duff (Mike Comrie)

The Penguins are building something special .

Both on and off the ice.

Mike Comrie is a very lucky man.
