Declan Sullivan's tragic death and Game 2 of the World Series are dominating the headlines at this hour.

Notre Dame athletic director Jack Swarbrick met with the media in South Bend and said that "an extraordinary gust of wind" preceded the collapse of the lift Sullivan was stationed atop, while filming the Irish practice Wednesday.

Elsewhere, the lineups are out for Game 2 of the World Series and one name is noticeably absent.

Following his defensive struggles in Game 1, Vladimir Guerrero will begin the game on the bench.
