Andriy Shevchenko Returns to Milan: The Transfer Saga Is Over

Finally, it is official! Andriy Shevchenko will leave Chelsea and head back to AC Milan!

Chelsea FC issued a statement that said the Ukrainian striker will move back to Milan, while Sheva spoke of his delight to return to the Rossoneri by comparing his feelings as he moves back to Milan to the feelings of "winning the Champions League."

And it is just normal that Sheva is this happy. He had two greatly disappointing seasons with The Blues after six excellent years with the Rossoneri.

Milan were short of strikers after Alberto Gilardino moved to Fiorentina. Shevchenko will complete for a first-team place against 35-year-old Filippo Inzaghi, 18 year-old Pato, and Marco Borriello, who was recalled to Milan after impressive performances last season when he was on loan at Genoa.
