Kristen Lee: Texas Rangers Pitcher's Wife Upset by Yankee Fan Behavior
According to numerous wire reports, including thirdage.com, Kristen Lee—the wife of Texas Rangers pitcher Cliff Lee—has recently spoken out about New York Yankee fan behavior.
Kristen Lee, who was sitting in the family section during a game in New York, was disgusted by the Yankee fans reactions, according to the report.
"Ugly taunts; obscenities; cups of beer thrown," Kristen Lee said. "Even fans spiting from the section above."
And if it's up to her, she'd prefer her husband stay in Texas as a member of the Rangers over making a move to play with the New York Yankees in the foreseeable future.
"The fans did not do good things in my heart," Kristen Lee told USA Today. "“When people are staring at you, and saying horrible things, it’s hard not to take it personal."
The Rangers are slated to face the San Francisco Giants in Game 1 of the 2010 World Series on Wednesday at 7:30 p.m. EST on FOX, with Lee scheduled to start for Texas against Tim Lincecum.
