How great was this weekend? From the breathlessness of Jordan-Hare to the battle of Columbia, Week 8 of the college football season was once again absolutely wonderful.
Anyway, here's our BCS Top 25:

1. Oregon
Put up nearly 60 on UCLA Thursday night. Next up? Gameday at the Coliseum against USC. We don’t expect No.1 to get upset again on Saturday night.

2. Auburn
The victory over LSU sets up games against Georgia and Alabama rather nicely, doesn’t it?

3. Boise State
This is a great team that’ll probably hammer Louisiana Tech on Tuesday, but the strength of schedule is (rightly) starting to show.

4. Missouri
Massive victory over Oklahoma. Unfortunately, a trip to Lincoln, Nebraska is up next.

5. TCU
A horrible start against Air Force, but in the end the Frogs had too much class.

6. Michigan State
Breathless comeback against Northwestern showed Sparty never gives up. Aaron Bates for a Heisman!

7. Utah
Utes move to 8-0 with a difficult 59-6 win over Colorado State.

8. Alabama
Gulp. Here comes Alabama. The week after next the Tide go to Death Valley to play LSU. Think Gameday might be at that one?

9. Ohio State
Good thrashing of Purdue keeps the Bucks praying that Iowa will do the job against MSU next week.

10. Oklahoma
Mistakes killed them on Saturday night. Stunning news—the Sooners aren’t as good as the pollsters thought!

11. LSU
If the offense doesn’t improve, it’ll be hard to envision the Tigers beating Alabama the week after next.

12. Wisconsin
HUGE (if fortunate) win at Iowa on Saturday. Good game though.

13. Stanford
Jim Harbaugh’s got a solid team in Northern California, peeps.

14. Nebraska
Nice win at Oklahoma State will make them favorites to beat Mizzou on Saturday night and end their unbeaten run.

15. Florida State
Athletes, baby, athletes.

16. Arizona
Another win over upset-minded Washington continues to make the Wildcats dangerous.

17. Arkansas
The tough losses at Auburn and Alabama look better and better for the Razorbacks.

18. South Carolina
Obviously not a marquee win for the Gamecocks, but a win nonetheless. They move up because everyone around them seemed to lose.

19. Oklahoma State
It might be fun to watch the Pokes, but their defense sucks (see Nebraska game for details). Consider them dangerous in the matchup against Oklahoma, though.

20. Iowa
One-point loss to Wisconsin damages their Big Ten hopes FAR more than their BCS hopes. Wins against MSU and Ohio State will put them in the race for a pretty nice bowl bid, though.

21. Mississippi State
The SEC West is so good compared to the SEC East that these guys make the grade.

22. Virginia Tech
The Hokies are the form team in the ACC right now. James who?

23. Baylor
The Baylor Bears are bowl-eligible for the first time in 16 years, folks.

24. Miami
An impressive win over North Carolina puts the ‘Canes back in our top 25.

25. USC
The Trojans’ battering of Cal two weeks ago made some people believers. Why not us?
