First Round

This Heavyweight Title bout is going to officiated by Herb Dean.  It is on and Lesnar comes out looking very focused, as does Velasquez.  Lesnar comes in and ties up Velasquez.  After a couple of knees he shoots and gets a takedown but Velasquez gets back up.

Lesnar presses him against the Octagon fence and puts his weight against the fence.  Velasquez is looking to slip an arm under the chin of Lesnar, who is still pushing him against the Octagon fence.

Lesnar has the back of Velasquez, but he now breaks free and lands a right hand.  Lesnar lands a right but Velasquez gets the takedown and takes the back of Lesnar.

Lesnar gets up and falls back down.  Velasquez hammers away with strikes and puts Lesnar down.  Lesnar looks very tired and looks to be on his last breath.  Velasquez hammers away and elbows away with shots.  Velasquez pounds him out.

OFFICIAL DECISION: Velasquez over Lesnar, First round TKO
