The NFL season is now seven weeks old and it's time to get serious about your fantasy teams.
If you're looking to get a winning streak going to make a strong run to the fantasy playoffs, now is the time to start.
As always, I'm right here to host this live blog Saturday night and Sunday morning for last second tips, advice, breakdowns and more.
This week, just like last week. I'm torn between two quarterbacks for my starting QB position:
Brett Favre or Kevin Kolb
Favre was so-so last week but Kolb was out-of-this-world efficient.
Then again he'll be without DeSean Jackson.
But then, Favre is playing on Sunday night against his old pals—the Green Bay Packers.
The answer to my dilemma will be Kevin Kolb.
At least for this week, he's my starter.
Favre has given me plenty of reasons to be optimistic this season—ideal matchups, Randy Moss trade and a three TD game against the Jets—but the truth is he's still underachieving this year.
If anything he should be ready to play against the Pack but I'm going with the hot hand in Kolb.
Kolb could be fighting for playing time today with Michael Vick expected to return after the Eagles bye, Week 9.
And he's got a good matchup against the Tennessee Titans. Tennessee has been among the league leaders in interceptions but Kolb's conservative ways should help his cause.
He's less likely to throw the ball away. Definitely less likely than Brett Favre.
Today, I'm going with Kolb.
Sorry Brett. We'll get back to you next weekend.
