Michigan State Football

OK, MSU is 8-0. Coach D is the Best. But Coach Izzo Needs To Travel to Iowa.

INDIANAPOLIS - APRIL 03: Head coach Tom Izzo of the Michigan State Spartans looks on from the sideline in the first half while taking on the Butler Bulldogs during the National Semifinal game of the 2010 NCAA Division I Men's Basketball Championship on April 3, 2010 in Indianapolis, Indiana. Tom Izzo has said that football is No. 1 at MSU.  Think about that.

This is one of the three or four greatest coaches in college basketball today (no argument from anyone, I assume), and he still loves the football team and understands its importance.

I want Coach Izzo with the team next Saturday in Iowa.  Here's why:  We are ONE MSU.

We are not football, basketball, women's volleyball or hockey as separate components.    We are ONE MSU.

And I want Coach Izzo with Coach D in the halftime locker room to reflect that.

Magic, Coach Perles and Lorenzo White are invited, too.  In fact, let's get them all to Iowa, all Spartan legends, and just those who played tough for us.  Scott Skiles, we would like to see you there, too.

Where can I comment?
