Brock Lesnar: A World Wide Web Writer Finally Backs Heavyweight Champ
After some careful searching, I was finally able to come across a world wide web writer actually backing the favored Brock Lesnar heading into tonight's UFC 121 main bout.
It's very interesting to see how many people are actually pulling for, and believing, Cain Velasquez will beat Lesnar tonight.
However, I digress.
Here is MMAFighting.com lead blogger Michal David Smith's prediciton of tonight's bout between Lesnar and Velasquez:
"The people picking Velasquez tend to say he has crisper stand-up, better technical wrestling, and better cardio, and I don't disagree with any of those things. But I'm picking Lesnar to beat Velasquez, because Velasquez isn't big and strong enough to handle the imposing physical presence of the 265-pound Lesnar.
"If there were a 235-pound weight class, as some MMA fans think there should be, Velasquez might very well be its champion. But Lesnar has the perfect build for the 265-pound weight class, and I think the size difference is going to be the decisive factor on fight night."
Regardless of your view on who will win between Lesnar and Velasquez, one thing remains certain: the jury is split on how tonight's fight will conclude...
