Brock Lesnar: Picks and Predictions Around the Web for UFC 121, Part I
Everyone on the web has an opinion, and today we're going to quickly glance at what people around the world are saying heading into tonight's much-anticipated UFC 121 bouts.
First up is E. Spencer Kyte, a blog reporter for Canada.com.
According to Kyte, here's how he foresee's the main bout breaking down between Brock Lesnar and Cain Velasquez—a fight he beleives Velasquez will win with a TKO in round 4:
"I think this is going to be the Fight of the Night, the Fight of the Year and the fight where those who still rag on Lesnar for his pro wrestling pedigree are forced to admit that the athletic freak of nature is an incredible specimen. I also think this is where we see a new champion crowned.
"...I think over 25 minutes, the more complete fighter will assert himself. Cain doesn't have the crazy Viking power of Lesnar, but the accumulation of shots the champ will have to endure will take their toll, and his ground game is strong enough that he shouldn't get seriously compromised there either.
"I don't question Lesnar's cardio like some have, but feel that Cain will frustrate Brock by stuffing some takedowns and peppering him from different angles before earning a finish in the championship rounds."
Stay tuned for more views, notes, and pre-fight thoughts prior to this evening's UFC 121 event...
