Brett Favre Scandal: Sterger's Manager Claims Favre Made Phone Calls Last Year
The manager for Jenn Sterger is claiming that Brett Favre tried to contact his client last year on the phone.
Phil Reese, Sterger's manager, claims that Favre attempted to call Sterger in June of last year.
This is the latest allegation in the ongoing scandal that won't seem to die. Recent lewd pictures and voice messages surfaced that are thought to be of Favre trying to engage with Sterger.
The alleged incident occurred in 2008, the only season that Favre spent with the New York Jets. Sterger worked for the team that season as a hostess and did spot reporting from the sidelines during the games.
Favre was contacted and interviewed by the league office last week. He could face possible suspension by the league for sexual harassment, a violation of the NFL's Personal Conduct Policy.
Sterger has been contacted by the league but as of yet, has not spoken with them. It is unclear whether or not she wants to pursue anything against Favre. Should she choose not to, the league may not have a case.
Indications on Friday, however, seem to point toward Sterger discussing the situation with the league office.
Favre will lead his current team, the Minnesota Vikings into Green Bay tomorrow night for a key NFC North game.
