NCAA Football Scores: Iowa State Shocks No. 19 Texas
Austen Arnaud threw for two touchdowns, Alexander Robinson rushed for 120 yards and two scores, and Iowa State forced four turnovers in a 28-21 win at Texas Saturday.
Texas has now lost consecutive home games for the first time since 1997. Texas was drilled at home two weeks ago by UCLA.
It was the first-ever win against Texas for Iowa State.
Texas had 440 yards of total offense and nine more first downs, but was doomed by turnovers.
Quarterback Garrett Gilbert of Texas threw for 259 yards and two touchdowns--both of which came in the fourth quarter--but the Longhorns rally fell short. Gilbert also threw three interceptions--his second three INT game of the season.
