Dan Persa is the phenomenal quarterback for the Northwestern University Wildcats, and with Terrelle Pryor and Denard Robinson earning most of the attention in Heisman Trophy discussions, Persa has been overlooked so far this season.

Well that ends today.

Persa just chalked up his third rushing touchdown of today's game against the Michigan State Spartans, and with only two interceptions and a ridiculous completion percentage this season, it is hard to ignore this kid for very much longer.

If the Wildcats pull off an upset today against Michigan State, they will find themselves amongst the top teams in the Big Ten, and they could find themselves in their third straight bowl game at the end of the season.

This will be the first time in school history that the Wildcats will go three straight years with bowl game appearances.

The Spartans tried to close the gap, but the Wildcats answered with yet another Dan Persa touchdown. If he isn't on your Heisman watch list yet, he should be.
