ESPN has reported that Detroit Lions offensive coordinator Scott Linehan is being considered for the head coaching position at the University of Minnesota.

Linehan is no stranger to the state of Minnesota, as he was the offensive coordinator and wide receivers coach for the Minnesota Vikings between 2002 and 2004.

What does the potential loss of Linehan mean to the Detroit Lions, and who would be a suitable replacement?
