Alex Riley: The Epitome of Screwed and Misused

I see all of these articles about people who are being misused but I have not seen any that have the one guy who has not even been given a chance yet. Yes, you heard right: Alex Riley is the most misused guy on the RAW roster.

Alex Riley, as you all know, was on the previous season of NXT and actually made it to the final three before being eliminated. During this, he was The Miz's protege.

Well, I should not say "during this," I should say "still." All I ever see is him walking with the Miz and being his personal cheerleader-type guy.

What I don't get is why he has not even had a match on WWE yet. How can a guy who is a "Varsity Villain" only be used to get constantly knocked out by Daniel Bryan, whose gimmick is a nerd, I'm guessing?

If WWE is planning on him maybe turning on Miz or something like that, then it would kind of be understandable, but still they are not even looking to give him any time to work. What has he had like two or three times on the mic where Miz interrupted him?

He could have really been used as Muhammed Hussan was and got over great. He is a powerful guy, a good gimmick, an awesome F-5 signature move. I just don't understand why.

I saw a video of him fighting Kaval in NXT, and what I believe makes him special is his ability to capitalize. He went this entire match CLEANLY getting a mudhole stomped in him yet came away with the W.

Now I don't want this article to get confused and make it seem like he should get a push right now and have a title right now but at least let the guy get some work in.

His in-ring work really needs some practice, but besides that I really cannot see any reason why he is being used as the Miz's shadow and Bryan's submission bag.

So WWE do you think Riley should get some time to better himself or is this going to be another wasted talent by the WWE?
