More British Success and How I Wish It Were Me
It's been a relatively successful two days for Team Great Britain with a 17th gold medal and more podium positions.
But Usain Bolt stole the show yesterday and I chose to write about him instead. A big sorry to the British public!
I'm back today though and I'll start with Byrony Shaw. The Brit picked up bronze in women's windsurfing.

Controversial Usyk TKO Win 🤔
So what's crazier than swimming 10 kms in open water, the cold, and wind? The fact that us Brits are made for it.
A silver in both the men's and woman's races. David Davies was in the lead before he took a wrong turn.
Well, when I say "wrong turn" I think I mean, swam in the wrong direction!
Yesterday Keri-Anne Payne finished ahead of fellow Brit Cassie Patten, who claimed the bronze.
On the track Tasha Danvers took the 400m hurdles bronze and in the field Phillips Idowu took silver in triple jump.
Sadly our 4 x 100m relay men mucked up our chances of glory by getting themselves disqualified.
I just can't complain after these Olympics, though. It's been too good.
So now to that 17th gold. Iain Percy and Andrew Simpson won the star sailing class to earn gold for Britain.
They were clearly elated, and I can imagine winning gold as part of a team must be equal to if not better than winning on your own. They'll always have that bond, someone who'll always be there down the line.
Can you imagine it, some cocky prat in a bar. "What have you ever done? What makes you better than me? Ha ha."
"An Olympic gold medal about covers it"
Oh how I'd love the glory!
