Buckeyes Looking To Beat USC

The 2008 Ohio State Buckeyes are locked, loaded and ready to head to their third straight BCS National Championship Game.  But first they will have to beat the mighty USC Trojans at the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum.

The Buckeye offense is well-balance at all positions.  At quarterback Todd Boeckman completes a high percentage of his passes to his skilled receivers.  Brian Robiskie and Brian Hartline are two of the top Buckeyes.

At running back, Chris "Beanie" Wells hopes to get the job done on the ground and help the Buckeyes earn a third straight Big Ten Conference title, as well as bringing home the Heisman Trophy.

Brendan Saine also hopes give Beanie a rest and help the Buckeyes become more dynamic on offense.  Freshman quarterback Terrelle Pryor also hopes to add a new dimension to Jim Tressell's offense.

The defense is deep, experienced, and extremely talented.  James Laurinaitis, the leader of the Buckeye defense, hopes to shut down Big Ten opponents such as Illinois, Wisconsin, and of course Michigan.

Malcom Jenkins, the corner back, is also a key member of the Buckeye defense.  Jim Heycock, the defensive coordinator is determined to bend but don't break in order to get the ball back in the hands of Chris Wells and the offense.

The Trojans of USC are extremely talented as well, but if the Buckeye D can shut down Mark Sanchez and Joe McKnight the Buckeyes shut be able to walk out with a win and run towards a third straight National Championship Game, and hey maybe this time we can win it.
