NFL Picks Week 7: Washington Redskins vs. Chicago Bears Prediction
Our final preview of next week's slate of games is an intriguing one. Both teams are coming off three point losses at home and have some problems protecting their quarterback.
Jay Cutler was rushed all day in Sunday's loss to the Seahawks. The Vanderbilt standout had problems against an average Seattle secondary and finished the game an anemic 17 of 39 for 290 yards while taking six sacks. McNabb was more successful against Indy finishing 29 of 45 for 246 yards a touchdown and two picks.
Cutler has looked uncomfortable under Mike Martz new system as the offensive line has not allowed enough time for the routes to develop. Chicago's defense has been dominant against the run, but somewhat lackluster against the pass. I expect McNabb to throw for 250 yards and Cutler to struggle yet again as the Redskins waltz into Soldiers field and steal a crucial road game.
The Bears have not played as well as their record his indicated so don't be surprised to see them fall off.
Final Score: 27-21 Redskins.
