Tampa loses big to Saints 31-6

Aaron ShawContributor IOctober 18, 2010

What an upseting loss for the Bucs against the Saints as they were looking hot with a 4th quarter comeback win last week against the Bengals.

Although the Bucs are struggling offensively on behalf of a dismal rushing game by Cadillac Williams and the O-line, Tampa was under the expectation of presenting a really good game against the Saints who are facing injuries amongst the team.

With Freeman passing for 219 yards on the day it is obvious that the running game of Tampa is needed to stablize this horribly efficient Bucs offense. 6 for 15 on third down conversions are not stats that this young team need to be considering 3-2 amongst the tuff NFC South Division which things can unexpectedly turn for the worse for the Bucs.

Tampa has to come to terms with it rushing game to get back on track on the season and back to an efficient offensive unit under the reigns of the talented young QB in that of Josh Freeman if they are expecting to bounce back with a winning season this season.
