NBA Rumors: Javaris Crittenton Cut By Bobcats, To Lakers?

It seemed not long ago that Javaris Crittenton was a key cog in the trade that brought Pau Gasol to Los Angeles.
But Crittenton has failed to live up to his potential with the Memphis Grizzles and the Washington Wizards. In fact, he was the man Gilbert Arenas supposedly drew his handgun on in Washington.
After that entire debacle, he was given probation for a misdemeanor gun charge.
He latched on with the Charlotte Bobcats in the preseason but was just waived after four preseason games. Coach Larry Brown told reporters this morning, "It was him or Sherron."
Brown was referring to undrafted rookie Sharron Collins who was also vying for a roster spot as a no. 3 guard.
With Crittenton back in the free agent pool, could his former team, the Los Angeles Lakers give him another shot?
The timing is probably not right for the Lakers, who—barring a trade—appears to set with their roster.
