UFC 120: Live Updates From London Hours Before U.S. TV Airs Event

If there were room, that headline would read "Live...from London Via San Francisco" as I am most definitely NOT across the pond for the Ultimate Fighting Championship's latest offering—UFC 120: Bisping vs. Akiyama.

Though purely due to a lack of funds.

The card has taken its lumps due to the ho-hum nature of the main event, it's only vanilla for those who demand title bouts. In reality, Michael Bisping should be man possessed in on his native soil, and Yoshihiro Akiyama was cresting nicely before Chris Leben used him as springboard for the Crippler's own impressive performance.

Additionally, Dan Hardy looks to rebound from his first loss in the organization, a humbling lesson in the value of well-rounded excellence learned from welterweight champion Georges St-Pierre. That's always interesting, so it's gravy that his opponent, Carlos Condit, poses a challenge in and of himself.

The former World Extreme Cagefighting Welterweight Champion has been impressive since being absorbed into the sister company, suffering only one loss (in his debut) to Martin Kampmann and bagging two victories since then.

But more on those bouts later.

For now, let's get to the nuts and bolts of the afternoon's (or evening's, depending on where you are) card.
