It has been an exciting five weeks to the Fantasy Football season and for the first time since 1970, no team was able to play the first four games and remain undefeated. The Kansas City Chiefs were the last team to suffer their first loss, losing in Indianapolis 19-9.
A few teams are already in deep trouble. The Dallas Cowboys and Minnesota Vikings, the two teams I picked to play in the NFC Championship Game are both 1-3 and playing for their season in Minneapolis this weekend.
My AFC picks are going much better as the only four-win teams in the AFC are the New York Jets and Baltimore Ravens, who were my two picks to play for the AFC Title.
Here are my Start / Sit picks for this week:
Start of the Week
New York Giants WR Hakeem Nicks - There is a star in the making in The Big Apple and that star is Nicks. The second-year receiver is currently fourth in receptions (33), ninth in receiving yards (409) and second in receiving touchdowns (6). He is currently the second-leading receiver in fantasy football.
This week he goes against a Detroit Lions defense that allows the ninth most points to fantasy receivers at 21.8 per game. He is also facing a Lions team that has lost 23 straight road games. Nicks has been a handful for NFL defenses this year and I look for him to have a huge week. He currently ranks fourth in my positional rankings for Week Six wide receivers...
