Juventus stayed just a game's distance behind AS Roma and Inter Milan for Serie A supremacy, defeating Lazi by a score of 3-2.

The scoring started in Juventus’ favor with a Nocerino shot form six yard out, which deflected off of Trezeguet and looped into the back of the net.

Lazio responded six minutes later with a brilliant link between the entire Lazio offense to find Pandev clean on goal for the equalizer.

The game then taken over by two men—Alessandro Del Piero and Gianuigi Buffon.  Del Piero, wanting to show that he was more than just a 'super sub,' started the match sensationally, scoring two identical goals.

Del Piero received beautiful long balls and took a few touches, and both times ripped shots across the face of the goal to secure Juventus' lead.

Buffon, on the other hand, made a few immaculate saves, bound to make some highlight reels.  Rocchi of Lazi latched his volley onto the end of a set piece, and Buffon cleared it off of the line with a split-second reaction.

Juventus must next face 17th Siena whereas Lazio will take on 9th Polermo.  Both matches are on the 23rd of December.
