Matt Leinart: From College Star to NFL Bust

Ryan Leaf. Charles Rodgers. JaMarcus Russell.

These names are synonymous with failure; that is the only reason they are remembered.

Russell was the first overall pick in the 2007 NFL Draft. Leaf and Rodgers were both second overall picks in 1998 and 2003 respectively. They were destined for greatness, or so the critics thought.

Today, these three players are three of the biggest NFL busts of all time. And former Heisman Trophy Winner Matt Leinart is poised to join them.
