Chargers Sign Marcus McNeill To An Extension
Adam Schefter of ESPN is reporting that the San Diego Chargers have signed offensive tackle Marcus McNeill to an extension. According to Schefter, the deal is five years long. Wide recveiver Vincent Jackson remains without a new contract.

Yesterday the Chargers added McNeill to their roster by releasing safety C.J. Spillman and cornerback Fred Bennett. McNeill missed the first five games of the season while he was holding out for a new deal.

McNeill is expected to play against St. Louis next week. The San Diego Union Tribune reports that the deal is still being finalized today. Even though McNeill returns, Bill Williamson of ESPN expects Brandyn Dombrowski to compete with Jeromey Clary at right tackle
