College Football Week 7: UNC Dismisses Three Players
According to ESPN's Heather Dinich, the University of North Carolina Tar Heels have dismissed Marvin Austin, Greg Little and Robert Quinn due to NCAA violations.
Austin has been kicked off the team, and Little and Quinn have been deemed "permanently ineligible" by the university because of NCAA findings regarding these players accepting improper benefits.
13 players were kept off the field this season pending investigations, and six of them are still awaiting word from the university and the NCAA.
The Tar Heels will take on Virginia this weekend, and they will travel south to play the Miami Hurricanes in Week 8.
