Week Five displayed why Fantasy Owners should always look to upgrade their team. With the season-ending injury to St. Louis Rams WR Mark Clayton, Danny Amendola had 12 receptions for 115 yards in relief.
Last week, I wrote about the emergence of Amendola and with Clayton now lost for the year, he becomes the No. 1 option in St. Louis.
This week features new Fantasy players who are worth owning and are only an injury away from becoming valuable Fantasy performers.
Ryan Fitzpatrick, Buffalo Bills
Without having a reliable rushing attack, Fitzpatrick has performed very well in his three starts and showed his consistency in Week 5. He finished with 220 passing yards with three touchdowns.
On the season, Fitzpatrick has thrown for 595 yards with seven touchdowns and only two interceptions. He has a quarterback rating of 99.9 percent and a completion percentage of 61.2.
Owned in six percent of ESPN leagues and 16 percent of CBS Sportsline leagues, while the Buffalo Bills are on a bye this week, fantasy owners should add him as a reliable bye-week replacement going forward...
