New York's opening kickoff went out of bounds, giving the Vikings great field position at the 40. A myriad of false starts drove them back and the Vikings eventually went three-and-out.

The drive started with a double reverse to Randy Moss, who then pulled up to pass the ball. With no one open he pump-faked and found an open Brett Favre for a ten-yard gain for possibly the most bizarre completion in NFL history.

But the play was called back due to Favre being an ineligible receiver downfield.

It was a great play call and it almost worked.
