Canadiens-Flyers: Habs Win Again Away from Bell Centre

Icon Sports MediaThe Montreal Canadiens played another solid game away from their home ice Thursday night, disposing of the Philadelphia Flyers 4-1.

Montreal lit the lamp three times during the second period. Mark Streit scored twice for the Habs. Chris Higgins and Andrei Kostitsyn each added goals of their own.

The Canadiens boast a 10-5-1 record away from the Bell Centre, but have gone just 5-6-4 at home.

Sergei Kostitsyn was impressive in his NHL debut. His speed and stickhandling opened eyes—and are sure to make some fans ask why the team waited 30 games to call him up.

The Habs will try to avoid a club record-tying seventh consecutive loss when they face the Toronto Maple Leafs Saturday evening in Montreal.
