Tuskers Trash Colonials

The Joe Theismann-led Florida Tuskers are 1-0.
After the announcement that Theismann would become the president of the franchise at halftime, the Tuskers came back and went on a 23-7 run. The Tuskers are now 2-2 on the season and the Colonials are 1-2.
“We weren’t desperate because we know what we can do as a team,” said Florida defensive end Patrick Chukwurah. “We lost the previous two games because we didn’t finish. So we knew, we had to come out and finish.”
Colonials quarterback Josh McCown completed 18 of 36 passes for 223 yards, a touchdown and one interception. Tuskers kicker Nick Novak set a UFL record with 4 field goals. Brooks Bollinger went 16-of-34 passes for 167 yards, one interception and one touchdown pass.
