Its Finally here opening day for the Boston Bruins in Prague V.s the Phoenix Coyotes. Boston started the period with good offense  and solid defense putting lots of pressure on the coyotes. Later in the first momentum would shift as Phoenix would take the puck up the ice and Adrian Aucoin finds Radem Verbata who bats the puck out of the air to give the Coyotes the lead 1-0. the Bruins would get 3 power plays but couldn't capitalize on any of them.

in to the second and it was more bad news for the Bruins as they get caught out of position in the defensive zone, Taylor Pyatt gets a goal for the Coyotes giving them a 2-0 lead. Then Boston would give up the puck at cent er and Scottie Upshall would get a breakaway and score making it 3-0 coyotes. Before the end of the 2nd Eric Belanger would also score giving Phoenix a huge 4-0 lead.

in the third period Boston would bite back Lucic would find Nathen Horton in front for Bostons first goal of the game at 3:20. then Greg Campbell would drop the gloves agienst Fiddler. Boston would go on the powerplay later in the period and it was Horton agian who would score but that is all that Boston would get as they go on to loose this game 5-2.

Both these teams will meet again tomorrow morning to play in game two of the season series. This will be the last time these teams will play against each other this season. look for Tim Thomas to start in net and it is possible we could see some line changes on the power play and in the offense.
