Seriously, what's with the Jets? Just when the Ines Sainz Jets locker room scandal was dying down. Another person involved with the Jets franchise, sideline reporter Jenn Sterger, has found herself the topic of controversy for being involved in a
Although word of these allegations came out weeks earlier, the evidence surfaced only today. Now that Brett Favre's Vikings are playing in New York on Monday night, there's plenty of buzz going around.
Here are some of the biggest sports reporter controversies of all-time. How many have the Jets been involved in? Click to find out.
The knock on Guerrero during her short time as the sideline reporter for Monday Night Football was the fact that she lacked enough knowledge about the game.
After letting her go one year into her three-year deal, a producer revealed that the job, "wasn't a match between what Lisa does well and what the role requires."
Guerrero has a different story regarding her short tenure as a sideline reporter.
After a lot of publicity surfaced regarding her sexy shoot with FHM, she just told to stick to the X's and O's of the football instead of go with the original plan of injecting personality to the job by interviewing player wives, ex-coaches and attracting a broader audience with excitement and fun.
Soon after leaving her Monday Night Football job, Guerrero went to excite even more people by posing for Playboy.
This beautiful sportscaster, co-anchors ESPN's Sportscenter on weekdays. She also spent time as a tennis host for the 2009 U.S. Open.
Earlier this year, fellow ESPN personality, Tony Kornheiser criticized Storm's choice of outfit on his radio show.
Kornheiser called her outfit "horrifying" and proceeded to berate her look and also took a jab at Chris Berman's supposed weight loss.
His comments were definitely uncalled for and ESPN suspended him for two weeks for making such remarks.
When Spain lost, 1-0, to a supposedly weaker Switzerland team fans were looking for someone to blame.
They pointed their finger at none other than Sara Carbonero, beautiful sideline reporter and girlfriend of Spain's goaltender Iker Casillas.
Sara's definitely a hottie, it's understandable why people might think her presence is distracting.
As it actually turns out, Spain went on to win the World Cup.
And Carbonero got a big smooch from her boyfriend.
Could it be that she was actually a good luck charm for the Spanish team?
Here's a Jets legend, Joe Namath, acting extremely drunk.
Unfortunately, sideline reporter Suzy Kolber had to deal with his drunken sexual advances.
Embarrassing for the team and embarrassing for Namath.
Talk about going over the line.
While Namath was trying to come on to Suzy Kolber by using drunken words, Rampage Jackson acts like a stray dog and start humping this poor reporter, Heather Nichols.
Good for her for maintaining her composure.
Andrews is a definite hotty that knows her sports.
No wonder so many people see her as smart, charming and definitely sexy.
She was voted as Playboy's sexiest sportscaster in 2007 and 2008.
She's so hot, even Bruce Pearl wants to find an excuse to hold lay his hands on her.
And what's this?
Former USC lineback Rey Maualuga, trying to get freaky with Erin.
Then there was the infamous peephole incident from 2009 when Andrews was videotaped without her knowledge, fully undressed in her hotel room.
That video became an Internet sensation.
But Andrews has bounced back, her fame has been at an all-time high.
She even found her way on Dancing with the Stars as a top contender.
How can you not like a girl like that? She's hot, sexy, dances and knows her sports.
There's the story of Mexican reporter Ines Sainz, who found herself being mistreated in the New York Jets locker room.
While she was supposed to be interviewing quarterback Mark Sanchez, Ines found herself being addressed in an inappropriate manner by both Jets staff and players.
Although the Jets have apologized and Ines has accepted their apology.
Ines is still a hot topic.
Lately, there's been rumors that Hugh Hefner offered a substantial sum to pose in Playboy.
Ines' Azteca TV contract supposedly doesn't allow her to agree to such a deal, so we'll see if it even happens.
And now the latest controversy involving the Jets.
Allegations of the Favre sexting incident came out earlier this season.
Sterger supposedly had plenty of evidence that supports her claim that Favre—who was a quarterback for the Jets at the time—kept trying to seduce her and try to meet up with her via Myspace.
Favre was said to have gone as far as to send her photos of his little "gunslingler" over text message.
Jenn first gained fame for looking extremely hot in her Florida State outfits.
She was just a fan on the sidelines when a camera showed her and a small group of friends, during a Miami-Florida State football game.
Her looks, body and sex appeal got her future modeling gigs.
She's gone on to pose for Maxim and Playboy.
From the being a part of the crowd in a football game, to being on the pages of Playboy.
That was a big step for Sterger.
After Playboy, she got herself a job as a sideline reporter for the New York Jets in 2008.
And coincidentally that was the first and only year, Brett Favre, played in New York.
Maybe Brett just had her confused with Deanna and they were playing some weird role-playing kind of sex game?
She does look a lot like a younger version of Mrs. Favre.
There's plenty of evidence out there.
But it doesn't seem like Brett Favre will be making comments about this incident.
So for now, that's all we're getting.
