Predicting The Future

Brian Vickers, an amazing qualifying run, getting him the pole and Jimmie Johnson an impressive start, got his out side pole.

Early in the race Junior pushed Johnson to make Jimmie the leader early in the race, but on about lap 12 Junior took the lead from Johnson in  an impressive text book pass.  On lap 19 Marcos Ambros blew his engine and spilled oil all over the track.  After pit stops Johnson took the lead over Vickers, Junior, and Kyle Busch.

It seemed as though Kyle had an urge to get to the lead early on as he nearly got into Jimmie Johnson to take the second place and chase Junior for the lead. Yet the man to beat early on wasn't Kyle it was Vickers. I mean watching him I wanted to be a Vickers fan.

Caution on lap 85 when Paul Menard's car slid into Ryan Newman which caused him to get into Dave Blaney, Blaney held the most of the damage. On lap 97 Jeff Gordon had problems, same as Jimmie Johnson,  from contact the two drivers made in turn two.

The low blow of the race was when Denny Hamlin's engine blew up to tighten the race up and give Kyle Busch a chance to get the win, yet Carl Edwards still took the win for his second win at Michigan and the sweep.
