Diana Taurasi ESPN Body Issue: Is She Sexy?

WNBA star Diana Taurasi has posed for the Body Issue of ESPN the Magazine, and these risque pictures are completely opposite of Taurasi's original image.

This will be the second annual Body Issue for the magazine which featured Serena Williams, Dwight Howard, and Adrian Peterson last year.

Athletes are amongst the most physically superior human beings on the planet, and the Body Issue focuses on the physical attributes of some of the world's hottest athletes.

Now, when I think "hot body," Diana Taurasi is definitely not the first athlete to come to mind.

To be honest, she's not even in my top 50.

But she will grace the cover of the Body Issue this year, and we are all taking another look at this Phoenix Mercury guard.

The cover picture is steamy, but is Diana Taurasi really that hot?

In this picture, Taurasi has the whole "girl next door" thing working for her. The freckles are cute, and she looks like that sort of sexy tomboy that many guys dream about.

"Got Milk?" ads can be sexy. Rihanna did it. Danica Patrick did it.

Diana Taurasi did not.

This isn't Diana Taurasi's first rodeo when it comes to magazine covers, and even though she isn't as...um...naked in this one, she still looks pretty good.

I was convinced that Taurasi just looked bad when she had her hair all slicked back, and then I found this picture.

We get it. You're a basketball player. You're not a model.

But it looks like you're trying not to be sexy.

Now we have the photo that sparked this entire "sexy or not sexy" conversation, and I must admit that Diana Taurasi looks absolutely beautiful.

Her body is amazing (I would expect nothing less from a professional athlete), her face looks much softer, and the "sex hair" is always a plus in a photo like this one.

And even though Taurasi is fully nude, she still looks innocent and classy.

Well done, ESPN.
