He walked one and struck out four in the game with the only run coming in the game on a solo-blast from Dustin Pedroia (11, 57).

Maybe as he said Byrd had his dominant stuff the day before. Pitching line - 7 1/3, 10 hits, four runs (all earned), no walks, and no strikeouts but two homers.
