Chiefs' Prognosis? Things May Not Be So Good

Bleacher ReportAnalyst IAugust 16, 2008

You'd think with offensive talent like Tony Gonzalez, Dwayne Bowe, and Larry Johnson, the Kansas City Chiefs should at least make 8-8 this season.

Wrong.

The Kansas City Chiefs need help—lots of it, particularly on the offensive line. And unless they get it, quarterback Brodie Croyle won't be able to make plays and neither will Johnson. Offensive linemen never get any attention—except when they're needed; that's just the truth, and the Chiefs' linemen seem to be getting a lot of attention here lately.

That was their problem last year and they went 4-12, so, unless a few players really step up this year, you can only hope the Chiefs do at least a little better than they did last season.
