Ryder Cup 2010 Results: Tiger Brings His 'A' Game, but Team Europe Wins
The 2010 Ryder Cup came down to the very last match between Graeme McDowell and Hunter Mahan.
McDowell won on the 17th green to give Europe a 14.5 to 13.5 victory at Celtic Manor in Wales as Mahan played a valiant match, but could not overcome McDowell's stellar play.
Tiger Woods redeemed himself, winning his match and showing that he still has the ability to win in pressure situations. Phil Mickelson also played well on the event's last day giving the Americans some hope at retaining the Ryder Cup Trophy.
In the end, Team Europe had too much of a lead and after needing a fourth day to wrap up the event due to weather, the 38th Ryder Cup comes to a close with the European team victorious.
