The following players have been listed as inactive according to Thejetsblog.com:
CB Darrelle Revis, LB Jamaal Westerman, OL Wayne Hunter, TE Jeff Cumberland, WR Patrick Turner, DT Marcus Dixon, and LB Calvin Pace.
The loss of Westermaan and Hunter to injuries will hurt the Jets this week. Westermaan has been a contributor on special teams, and is always around the ball when he gets a chance to play.
With Westermaan out, and, as usual, Pace still not ready, the signing of Trevor Pryce looms even larger than it did earlier this week. Slated to play on passing downs, Pryce might find himself playing a lot more than he thought he would.
Hunter is a bit of a hybrid lineman, who has been effective when needed. He provided depth for the team with a banged up Nick Mangold who has showed the toughness for which he is noted making every start this season.
The injuries, however, open an opportunity for the maligned Joe McKnight. Already being booed by Jets fans and labeled a bust, the rookie has a chance to impress. You will almost certainly see him on special teams on the kickoff defense team, and he could return kicks as well.
It's going to be interesting this week.
