Sunday will provide the most entertaining games of the weekend with Liverpool looking to get back on track and Chelsea trying to bounce back from last week's defeat at Manchester City.  Manchester City, brimming with confidence after handing Chelsea it's first loss of the season, will hope to thwart the surprising start of recently promoted Newcastle.  With three of the top four teams facing off Sunday, the scene should be set for some entertaining soccer.

Manchester City vs. Newcastle

If Newcastle wins, it will be the club's 250th win in the Premier League.  To do it they will have to put forth an impressive effort against a City club that has not dropped a game at home this season.  Newcastle have earned just four points in their last four games, including dropping one at home to Stoke City last week.  Manchester United has too much talent and too much confidence to drop any points at home in this fixture.  Newcastle will have to wait another week for their milestone.

Manchester City 3, Newcastle 1

Liverpool vs. Blackpool

Liverpool will welcome back captain Steven Gerrard after he was given some midweek rest in the Europa Cup match.  Both teams are coming into the match in poor form.  They are both sitting towards the bottom of the table; an unfamiliar place for Liverpool.  Liverpool's struggling can only last so long, and playing Blackpool at home is just may be the remedy they need.  This will be a low scoring defensive battle, but look for Liverpool to put one in and earn a much needed win.

Liverpool 1, Blackpool 0

Chelsea vs. Arsenal

On paper this looks like the most mouth-watering match of the week.  Chelsea will be fighting to avenge their loss last week in Manchester while Arsenal are coming off of a draw and a loss themselves.  Chelsea will be without midfielder Frank Lampard due to a hamstring injury.  Arsenal has injury problems of their own, missing their captain Cesc Fabregas and striker Robin Van Persie.  Chelsea has looked unbelievable so far this season and a win against a top side like Arsenal will only make them more feared.  Be prepared for an exciting match that Chelsea wins.

Chelsea 2, Arsenal 0
