Fantasy Football Week Four IDP Start/Sit

Playing IDPs is a roller-coaster ride, that’s for sure. Some days your guys all go off and bring you the victory, and sometimes they will give you the dreaded goose egg.

I had one of those last week. I enjoyed losing by eight in one league where my starting DL of Mario Williams, Ray Edwards and Kroy Biermann gave me all of one tackle between them. In another league I lost by two in the first week Clay Matthews failed to record a sack.

But I’m keeping my chin up and leaving these studs in my lineups (except for the byes). Some Sunday, I'm sure they will all make it up to me.


Defensive Linemen to Start

Must-start studs at DL: Jared Allen, Trent Cole, Dwight Freeney, Aaron Kampman, Mathias Kiwanuka, Robert Mathis, Julius Peppers, Will Smith, Terrell Suggs, Justin Tuck, Kyle Vanden Bosch, Mario Williams (yes, even with last week’s big fat zero).


Matt Shaughnessy, Raiders – Houston has given up 11 sacks already this season, which makes any decent DL a fine play any week. I’d also consider putting Richard Seymour into your starting lineup. Just speaking as a fan of real football, this game pitting two ascending teams against each other should be a fun one to watch...
