Chelsea striker Claudio Pizarro has joined German outfit Werder Bremen on a season long loan deal.

Pizarro had a disappointing first season in West London after moving from Bayern Munich, scoring only two goals in 31 appearances.

The Peruvian's departure leaves Chelsea with four strikers at the club: Didier Drogba, Nicolas Anelka, Andrei Shevchenko, and Franco Di Santo.

Pizarro, has played for Bremen before, from 1999-2001.

    1. I would rather we just sell him and be done with it. I hate how we loan out players who obviously won't make it at the club.
