After three weeks, some rookies are starting to pull away from the rest. Plus, we might have the next crop of super star tight ends emerging as well in their rookie season.
1. Jahvid Best
2. Demaryius Thomas
3. Mike Williams
4. Ryan Matthews
5. Aaron Hernandez
Jahvid Best, RB, Lions
Good thing this list is based on all season or he would have dropped because of his performance against a stout Minnesota defense. Let's hope his toe injury is not serious and will not cause him to miss any significant time.
Aaron Hernandez, TE, Patriots
Patriots always find the great playmaking tight ends, and Hernandez has not disappointed. He continues to make big plays for Tom Brady and the Patriots offense. He is also the leader in receiving yards for rookies. If he can start finding the end zone he may overtake Best as the best rookie.
Tony Moeaki, TE, Chiefs
Have the Chiefs found their new Tony? After three games, they cannot be upset by Moeaki's performance. His amazing one-handed touchdown catch help put away the 49ers last weekend.
Mike Williams, WR, Bucs
He is the best receiving option on a bad team. He is obviously a talent, but will he be able to keep up the production when the Bucs start nose diving?
Demaryius Thomas, WR, Broncos
Thomas only caught two balls for 43 yards against the Colts, but he did get a few balls thrown his way in the red zone. It seems like the Broncos could have a different leading receiver each week which could hurt Thomas.
