The Nets could finalized this blockbuster deal by dealing Devin Harris to Denver. Chauncey Billups or Ty Lawson for Harris could open the trade winds for New Jersey. Harris is a good replacement for Chauncey Billups, Billups is a free agent after the season. Ty Lawson seems like a stay in Denver. The Nets could rent Billups for a year. If the Nets make the playoffs with him. Then sign him to play with Melo. Billups was named 2004 NBA Finals MVP. This guy has big time guts and heart. Harris is good and that about it. The Nets are looking for new leadership and Big-Time Billups fit that bill. Melo and Billups could lead the new Nets down the right path. Billups is the clutch shooter the Nets desperately needed. Billups would help shooters like Lopez, Outlaw, and Troy Murphy.
