According to reports Chelsea are to increase their bid in an attempt to bring another big name to Stamford Bridge before the start of the season on Saturday.

Robinho, 24, has been unhappy and has felt undervalued at Real since they tried to use him as part of a deal in a quest to sign Cristiano Ronaldo from Manchester United.

His agent Wagner Ribeiro is to hold talks with Real to try and get the player released.

"I will try to do everything possible to get this resolved," he said.

"It is what Chelsea and Peter Kenyon want but there is no way that they will pay what Madrid want."

Chelsea who had a bid around £20m rejected are to increase their bid to £25m to try and tempt Madrid into selling the Brazilian play maker. However Madrid's valuation is a lot higher and they are thought to want around £35m.
