Barcelona's Cameroonian striker Samuel Eto'o who has been linked with a move away from the Nou Camp this summer look's set to stay with the Spanish giant's after an impressive pre season performance.

After scoring five goal's during the pre season campaign Eto'o secured himself a place in the squad for next season.

Barca's new head coach Pep Guardiola who had previously told Eto'o that he wasn't part of his plans for the future said of the player on Tuesay night:

"I know that I said on my first day that I did not count on him, but I also said that I would treat him like any other player,"

"His behavior and attitude in Scotland and the United States have made me decide that he will remain with us. As well as that, he is a player with immense talent".

Eto'o was one of three high profile player's linked with a move including Ronaldinho who recently signed for AC Milan and Deco who is now at Chelsea after Guardiola's arrival at the Nou Camp.

There have been several clubs that have taken an interest in the striker including Manchester United, Chelsea and Tottenham.
