Is Chad Henne To Brandon Marshall the NFL's Next Great QB-To-WR Combo?

When people talk about great quarterback to wide receiver combinations, usually the first one that comes to mind is Joe Montana to Jerry Rice.

There are also a couple of others as well. Troy Aikman to Michael Irvin, Dan Marino to Mark Clayton, and even Steve Young to Rice.

I’ve watched a couple of teams that might have that QB to WR combination.

The team that seemed to stand out from the others was the Miami Dolphins with Chad Henne and Brandon Marshall.

Henne targeted Marshall 17 times, and Marshall caught 10 receptions for 166 yards against the Jets. The two have already showed a lot of potential and chemistry.

Now I know some of you think that I’m saying Henne and Marshall will be just as good Montana and Rice, but I don’t think that at all.

I’m not sure if Henne and Marshall will even be close to Montana and Rice's level.

Usually when you have an accurate quarterback with a big arm, and a tall, fast receiver who will catch anything, good things happen.

It’s hard to predict what will happen in the future, so for all I know one of these guys could get injured and their careers could go down from there.

From what I’ve seen, barring injury, Henne to Marshall should be one of the greatest quarterback to wide receiver combos in NFL history.
