Glasgow Rangers Start To Turn Club Around

Rangers may have taken their first positive step towards revival with three points at Falkirk last Saturday, but the loss of Carlos Cuellar to Aston Villa days later, certainly put the club back at square one.

So, it's quite exciting for me to discuss our latest signing— Valencia's Spanish U19 European Championship winner, Aaron Niguez Esclapez.

The young Spaniard has joined on loan for two seasons with an option to buy if everything works out.

19-year-old Niguez spent last season on loan at Spanish second division Xerex and Greek side Iraklis, where he impressed with three goals in 12 games.

The right-winger has been watched by Europe's best including Chelsea, Arsenal, Real Madrid and AC Milan.

This is great business by Rangers, as the fans will definitely take to such a signing. If successful, he'll also help answer some of Rangers creative problems.

Elsewhere Rangers have apparently made an enquiry with Italian side Palermo over the availability of Australian midfielder Mark Bresciano.

Another positive step should a deal come about.

I feel Rangers are moving to sort the midfield problems and that appeases me, even if it doesn't some Rangers fans.

One disgruntled Rangers fan has started a pressure group in a move to push Chairman David Murray out of the club. Something I'm not in agreement with!

There is some bad news however as Lille don't want Daniel Cousin. That's a terrible shame as far as I'm concerned.

The lazy striker needs the boot!

Lastly, we all thought the first Old Firm clash of the season would be in two weeks on Sunday but it appears it might be sooner.

Cardiff's City Glenn Loovens has asked for crisis talks with Cardiff''s Chairman Peter Risdale as he can't ignore interest from Glasgow's big two.

So, the Rangers might be 1-0 down before the season even starts if they lose Loovens' to Celtic or they could get one over on their rival's ahead of their first showdown clash.
